Important: Florida’s Updated Apostille Pickup Policy
The Florida Secretary of State has changed its policy for third-party apostille services. Previously, third-party agents could drop off documents and pick them up the same day. Under the new rule, all third-party services must now drop off documents one day and pick them up the next business day.
This policy applies to every apostille company in Florida — not just Online Florida Apostille. We are disclosing this because we believe our clients deserve accurate, honest information about timelines. If another company is still advertising same-day apostille pickup, they are not being transparent about the current rules.
Our Three Service Levels
Standard Service — Client Receives on 6th Business Day
You ship your documents to our Tallahassee office. Our agent submits them in person at the Florida Department of State and picks them up the next business day. We then ship your apostilled documents back to you via FedEx 2 Day (approximately 3-day delivery to most U.S. addresses).
- Price: $199 for the first document, $75 for each additional
- Includes: In-person submission, state apostille fee, FedEx 2 Day return shipping
- Total timeline: Client receives on the 6th business day
FedEx Priority Overnight Service — Client Receives on 4th Business Day
Same in-person process, but your apostilled documents are shipped back via FedEx Priority Overnight instead of FedEx 2 Day. This cuts 2 business days from the return shipping time.
- Price: $199 + additional FedEx Priority Overnight shipping fee
- Includes: In-person submission, state apostille fee, FedEx Priority Overnight return
- Total timeline: Client receives on the 4th business day
RON Apostille — Client Receives on 3rd Business Day (Fastest)
Our fastest option eliminates the initial shipping step entirely. Your document is notarized via Remote Online Notarization (RON) — a secure video session with a Florida-commissioned notary. Because there is no physical document to mail to us first, we can submit to the Department of State the same day your document is notarized, pick up the apostille the next business day, and ship overnight via FedEx.
- Price: $299 flat for the first document, $75 for each additional
- Includes: RON notarization session, state apostille fee, overnight FedEx to all 50 states
- Total timeline: Client receives on the 3rd business day
- Requirements: Valid U.S. driver’s license and U.S. SSN with established credit history (for Knowledge-Based Authentication)
